Our workshop at EIMA on drought and water saving
On Thursday 7th November we held a EIMA International the workshop entitled Drought and water saving: the solution is satellite. The event, moderated by Nicholas Colonna of ENEA, has explored the potential of satellite technologies applied to water resources management and irrigation optimization, in response to the increasing drought affecting Italian agriculture.
The meeting saw interventions from our team and from industry experts, who shared concrete experiences And innovative solutions.

Let's start with those of Lorenza Panunzi, our sales manager, who introduced the context of drought and the contribution of satellite solutions in targeted water resources management
James Santinelli Of Assofrutti presented the results of the use of TETHYS Aqua for theirrigation of hazelnut groves, showing how the timing and volume of interventions can be optimised.
Stephen LoPresti, responsible for TETHYS, discussed the various applications for Land Reclamation Consortia.
In the end, Matteo De Sanctis, responsible for marketing and communications, illustrated the use of TETHYS Grow for the assessment of drought damage, one solution of great interest for the insurance sector.
