L'NDVI<\/strong> c'est un indice fondamental en agriculture de pr\u00e9cision et est utile pour son \u00e9valuation et son suivi \u00e9tat de sant\u00e9 des plantes<\/strong> sur un terrain d\u00e9termin\u00e9.<\/p>

C'est un index tr\u00e8s intuitif et facile \u00e0 interpr\u00e9ter. Il est calcul\u00e9 comme le rapport entre la diff\u00e9rence et la somme des rayonnements r\u00e9fl\u00e9chis dans le proche infrarouge et le rouge :<\/p>

Il est possible de d\u00e9duire ces valeurs \u00e0 partir de satellites en orbite<\/strong> qui, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des capteurs optiques de derni\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, sont capables de restituer des images contenant de pr\u00e9cieuses donn\u00e9es sur les r\u00e9flectances du rayonnement infrarouge (IR) et rouge (RED) provenant de la surface terrestre.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Les capteurs mesurent en effet la quantit\u00e9 de lumi\u00e8re solaire r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie par le v\u00e9g\u00e9tation<\/strong> qui, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la teneur en chlorophylle des feuilles et d'autres "parties vertes" de la plante, interagit de mani\u00e8re tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressante et utile avec les fr\u00e9quences de proche infrarouge<\/strong> (Proche infrarouge ou NIR\u00a0: 214-400 ThZ).
Ceux-ci d\u00e9tectent le degr\u00e9 de d\u00e9veloppement et de sant\u00e9 de la plante : les rayonnements proches infrarouges r\u00e9fl\u00e9chis augmentent lorsque la vigueur de la plante s'am\u00e9liore (\u00e0 droite dans la figure ci-dessous), tandis que si la culture a des probl\u00e8mes, les rayonnements NIR r\u00e9fl\u00e9chis par les feuilles sont r\u00e9duites (\u00e0 droite sur la figure).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Pour \u00eatre pr\u00e9cis, le NDVI varie entre -1 et 1 e il grandit \u00e0 mesure que la sant\u00e9 et la luxuriance de la plante augmentent<\/strong>, avec les valeurs n\u00e9gatives typiques des zones non agricoles (eau et zones urbanis\u00e9es).
Cependant, pour pouvoir compter sur des donn\u00e9es fiables, il convient de toujours prendre en compte les diff\u00e9rentes consid\u00e9rations. phases ph\u00e9nologiques<\/strong> des plantes. En effet, ceux-ci influencent l'indice NDVI qui augmente lors de la phase de d\u00e9bourrement, se stabilise lors de la phase v\u00e9g\u00e9tative et diminue lors de la s\u00e9nescence, selon une tendance en cloche sch\u00e9matis\u00e9e pour une culture g\u00e9n\u00e9rique.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

En conclusion, un NDVI qui tend \u00e0 diminuer est le sympt\u00f4me de probl\u00e8mes dans le d\u00e9veloppement v\u00e9g\u00e9tatif des cultures, qui peuvent \u00eatre caus\u00e9s par un stress hydrique ou nutritionnel, des dommages dus \u00e0 des conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques d\u00e9favorables (par exemple la gr\u00eale), des attaques parasitaires ou autres.
