data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>It continues <strong>the collaboration between TETHYS and Syniergy<\/strong> for it <strong>development of advanced agrivoltaic systems<\/strong> in which <strong>energy production<\/strong> And <strong>agricultural activities<\/strong> are designed and monitored as <strong>parts of a single system<\/strong>.<\/p><p>After <a href=\"https:\/\/tethys.farm\/en\/ocm-moria-kiwi-project-step-forward-innovation-25\/\">the first operational experiences already started<\/a>, the partnership is enriched by <strong>two new projects<\/strong>: one in the locality <strong>Castel Maggiore,<\/strong> in the province of Bologna, and one in <strong>Houseism<\/strong>, in the province of Pavia.<\/p><p><strong>Two different contexts<\/strong> for territorial and cultural characteristics, but united by a <strong>precise objective<\/strong>: build agrivoltaic systems in which the <strong>agricultural continuity<\/strong> be documentable, measurable and supported by objective data.<\/p><h2>Two new sites, two new ex ante analyses<\/h2><p>The first project concerns <strong>an area of approximately 20 hectares in the province of Bologna<\/strong>Before the project process began, the land was used for the cultivation of corn, sunflower, durum wheat and rapeseed, thus providing <strong>a useful historical basis for reconstructing the productive behavior of the plot<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The second project concerns instead <strong>approximately 35 hectares in the municipality of Casatisma<\/strong>, in the province of Pavia, where last year&#039;s crop system is based on corn, soybeans, soft wheat and alfalfa.<\/p><p>In both cases, TETHYS and Syniergy will apply the same approach already adopted in other projects, with <strong>the aim of rigorously defining the initial agronomic framework, evaluating the productive potential of the land and building scenarios compatible with the future presence of the plant<\/strong>.<\/p><h2>The soil-agronomic relationship as a starting point<\/h2><p>Each project will start from <strong>drafting of a complete soil and agronomic report<\/strong>, necessary to describe the characteristics of the site in a structured way.<\/p><p>The analysis will include the <strong>physical, chemical and biological aspects of the soil<\/strong>, the <strong>existing vegetation<\/strong>, the<strong>agricultural use of surfaces<\/strong> they <strong>any environmental and regulatory constraints<\/strong>.<\/p><p>This information will be supplemented by <strong>georeferenced maps and images<\/strong>, useful to provide a <strong>objective technical framework<\/strong> to support the design.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-95185b2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"95185b2\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>A cultivation plan compatible with the system<\/h2><p>Starting from <strong>agronomic characteristics of the land<\/strong> and from the <strong>photovoltaic system configuration<\/strong>, a will be developed <strong>compatible cultivation plan<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The goal is not simply to ensure coexistence between panels and crops, but <strong>identify the most suitable agronomic solutions to maintain productivity and sustainability over time<\/strong>.<\/p><p>The plan will define:<\/p><p>\u2022 <strong>cultivable species<\/strong> depending on shading and microclimate<br \/>\u2022 <strong>crop rotations<\/strong> more appropriate<br \/>\u2022 <strong>agronomic techniques<\/strong> recommended<br \/>\u2022 <strong>the strategies<\/strong> for efficient water use and reduced inputs.<\/p><h2>The contribution of the DSS TETHYS<\/h2><p>The TETHYS system will support the analysis through the modules <a href=\"https:\/\/tethys.farm\/en\/agricultural-crop-monitoring\/\">Watch<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/tethys.farm\/en\/water-saving-agriculture\/\">Aqua<\/a> And <a href=\"https:\/\/tethys.farm\/en\/agricultural-biomass-calculation\/\">Grow<\/a>.<\/p><p>Thanks to the<strong>integration<\/strong> between satellite data, meteorological information and advanced environmental models, it will be possible to:<\/p><p>\u2022 <strong>to monitor<\/strong> the vegetative state of crops;<br \/>\u2022 <strong>estimate<\/strong> irrigation needs;<br \/>\u2022 <strong>evaluate<\/strong> biomass production;<br \/>\u2022 <strong>quantify<\/strong> the CO\u2082 absorption capacity;<br \/>\u2022 <strong>build<\/strong> useful forecasting scenarios already in the authorization phase.<\/p><p>This approach allows for <strong>transform agronomic experience into an objective and shareable basis<\/strong>.<\/p><h2>Continuous monitoring throughout the life of the system<\/h2><p>The activity does not end in the planning phase.<\/p><p>Once the systems are built, TETHYS will allow <strong>monitor the evolution of crops over time<\/strong> and of <strong>compare actual results with the scenarios defined in the ex ante phase<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Daily processing, web apps and annual reports will offer a <strong>continuous operational support to technicians and agronomists<\/strong>, contributing to <strong>document agricultural continuity throughout the life of the plant<\/strong>.<\/p><h2>An agrivoltaic system designed on measurable bases<\/h2><p>The Castel Maggiore and Casatisma projects confirm an increasingly central principle in the development of agrivoltaics: <strong>Agricultural sustainability must be built and demonstrated through data, analysis and monitoring<\/strong>.<\/p><p>It is in this direction that TETHYS and Syniergy continue to work, with the aim of <strong>make agrivoltaics concretely measurable in its productive and environmental
