Do I need to install anything to use TETHYS?
No! TETHYS is a lightweight and ready-to-use solution, which does not require the installation of any additional hardware.
Enough open an account on the app for free to create your plots and thus exploit all the power and precision of satellite observations.
On which devices can I use TETHYS?
TETHYS can be used on all devices (mobile version coming soon). TETHYS was created to give you the best both when you are in the office and when you are on the field.
The information always remains updated and synchronized across all your devices.
Do I need internet to use TETHYS?
TETHYS requires an internet connection to access the information processed and collected in your account.
We are working to remove this limitation and soon you will be able to use TETHYS even in areas where there is little or no internet connection.
How can I change my password?
When logging in click on the item “Forgot your password?” and enter the email address associated with your account.
You will shortly receive an email with the instructions to follow to change your password.
Is TETHYS WATCH really free?
Yes! With the TETHYS FREE package we offer you advanced services and features, for one total area up to 200 hectares, free and forever!
When creating your account you will not be asked for any payment method.

What features are included in the TETHYS FREE package?
The TETHYS FREE package makes four vegetation and biophysical indices available to everyone for precise monitoring of the development status of your crops:
- Vigor Index (NDVI)
- Leaf water content (NDWI)
- Leaf extension index (LAI)
- Degree of ground cover (F-COVER)
The FREE package includes the TETHYS WATCH service, which allows you to monitor your crops thanks to images from 4 ESA and NASA satellites.
The satellites take a photograph of your plots every 2 or 3 days: the app allows you to explore all the analyzes of the images taken during the year, to evaluate the change over time thanks to intuitive and interactive.
How much do premium packages cost?
Premium packages are sold at an annual fee per farm, with the price depending on the size of the parcels analyzed. The offers and related rates can be found in Prices section of the site.
